What is International Aupair Fischer?

International Aupair Fischer is an agency offering placement and consulting services to both Au pairs and host families.

What is an Au pair?

An Au pair is a person aged between 18 and 30 years old who, in order to learn a new language and to discover a new culture, is willing to become a member of foreign family for a predetermined period of time, in exchange for meals, accommodation and an allowance. He/she will look after the children and help with light housework, such as setting the table and washing the dishes.

Can you help me find an Au pair or a host family?

Yes, we help Au pair applicants find a host family and host families find an Au pair. Au pairs are not charged a placement fee, only a registration fee.

Do I need to go through an agency?

It is recommended to use an agency when searching for an Au pair or host family.

In Switzerland, it is mandatory to use a recognised placement agency, especially for those outside of Europe. For more information, please see “Helpful information”.

Why should I register?

Registration is free.  Every Au pair applicant or host family should register on our website and create a profile. This helps us to find the right host family for the Au pair and vice versa.

Can I contact the Au pair or the host family without registering?

No, this is not possible. Contact information is only available to registered users. We establish contact with Au pairs and host families.   

How can I find my profile?

After registration, you can simply log in at any time to access your profile.
