Terms and conditions Data protection The protection of the personal information you provide to us when registering on our website is very important to us. We commit ourselves to using advanced techniques to protect this personal information from being accessed by third parties. Your details will be treated confidentially and in accordance with Swiss data protection laws. To ensure complete security, please send all correspondence to us via post. We are not responsible for the loss of personal details sent by e-mail. We also advise that you complete the necessary documents (e.g. application from) by hand and send them to us by post or fax. The information you provide to us during the registration process will be saved and processed, but only with your written consent. If you have a special interest in protecting your privacy, please tell us in advance. This information will be used for both technical administration and settling the contract. This means, for the Au pair, that his/her personal information will be provided to the host family and, for placements outside Switzerland, to our partner agencies. Conversely, the host family’s personal details will be given to the Au pair and, for families located outside of Switzerland, to our partner agencies.
You have the right to access the personal information you have provided to our agency. You can make such a request in writing. The Authorities have the right of access to your details for administrative purposes.
If you do not consent to the storage of your personal information by our agency, it will be deleted. To wit, when it is no longer necessary to keep this information saved, or for any other legal reason.
Our agency assumes no liability for the correctness and completeness of the available information. International Aupair Fischer reserves the right to add to and, if necessary, to modify the provided information. International Aupair Fischer is not responsible for any false statements made by the Au pair to the host family. The agency also assumes no liability for any damage caused by the Au pair to the host family’s property, as well as for the premature termination of the employment contract. If the latter should occur and the Au pair ceases all continuation of his/her daily duties, the onus lies solely on the Au pair.
The registration fee must be paid upon registration and is non-refundable and the placement fee after you have signed the contract. Payment is to be made within 30 days.
Swiss legislation applies and all possible disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the Court of Law in Bern.
